Expected impact
Allow us to continue to support men affected by baby loss and keep the fees associated with this as low or completely removed as possible, removing a barrier for a man affected by baby loss away.This will allow us to better serve our local community by dedicating more funds raised through charity days and games going towards charitable causes, supporting families affected by baby loss.
Track record
We started in 2019 with just 1 player - me, by August 2019 we had 7. September we were at 17 and now have 47 players. We've been awarded grassroots volunteer of the year by Sussex FA and Sussex Sports Awards. Through our fundraising we have donated thousands to worthy causes, either directly or through players fundraising pages. We hold monthly mental health check in sessions as well as weekly structured training sessions and complete over 40 competitive and charity/friendly football games.
