A Bioblitz can have a positive impact on people, by providing opportunities to get involved in conservation efforts, learn new skills, and connect with nature through innovative technology. The bioblitz help to promote understanding and appreciation of the natural world, which can have a positive impact on mental and physical well-being. The app will collect data on people's observations that will be connected to the physical place where bioblitz takes place. This enables us to see how engaged they're and how many plant/insect/tree/shrub observations they made. We also have a QR code on the back of seed packet that goes to our rewilding tool, where we can collect data on the sowing location of their seed packet, how they received the packet, and how they multiply their impact through badge reward journey encouraging them to go further with their conservation efforts. We have access to the back end of this data to see how engaged they were in that process.

They received a grant through Green Minds to develop pollinator research in the Devonport & Stonehouse area, giving the people of Plymouth a unique insight into how bees live in the hive as well as the importance of wildflowers and nature corridors, particularly in an urban environment."
