Track record
We have saved over 6 tones of food over the last year, distributing this to over 300 people every week. We have helped 100 people in cooking activities to come together and cook and eat and worked closely and deeply with a number of supported volunteers more than once per week. We have impact data and figures that we are happy to share showing all of this. People tell us that the meals ‘make them very happy because they mean they can keep them for when they need them and that it helps them save money and eat healthily’, some families are excited to receive new fruits to try each week and a number have reported starting to cook again and try experimenting with the fresh food they get. Recently someone wrote and said: I wanted to write and thank you for the frozen ready meals that you produce (I had the Tuscan Bean Stew today) & I must say that it was delicious, so tasty, very fresh tasting and perfectly seasoned, so much better than any ready meal i have ever bought”
