Problem statement
We have had numerous stabbing of young adults in our community we started a campaign to put gloves on and knives down. Mma is not just limited to physical benefits. It has mental health benefits. Our overall mission is to connect with young adults and provide them life skills such as determination, resilience and self-belief. All of which can help them facilitate their own personal empowerment journey. We believe that self empowerment gives us all the permission to believe, but we need input, support and guidance to ensure that objective is met, which is why we have made it our mission to positively impact as many young people as possible.
Solution
Ultimate warriors cic delivers programs that use Mma as a tool to engage it’s participants. We do this in a environment that is local to participants, which is fun, friendly and encouraging. Our programmes provide the height blend of theory and practical whilst promoting positive emotional development. Self- belief one of our foundational pillars is that self -belief in one’s self. Mind and body are interconnected and we discuss and educate on how your mind can further your bodies capabilities. Relaxation we teach relaxation techniques and tips, from traditional incense burning. . Mentoring we believe in being role models of our community, helping young adults achieve their goals.
Why are we best placed to deliver?
Our owner and head coach has over 40 years experience in Mma. He also has a degree in psychology. A background as a teacher of psychology at college. I myself am a family links facilitator I deal with children /adults behaviour. Between us we have got CBT training, Adhd training, we are both personal trainer. I am a qualified nutritionist so healthy advice always on site. I am a child protection officer. We have already made a difference to kids in our community the evidence told by parents teachers at schools, at the improvement of kids. So we know we work and are totally dedicated to helping our young adults in and around the community regardless of their situation, circumstances.
