West Hendon Pre-school is a charity nursery that helps parents on a low income or experiencing financial hardship by providing childcare services at a low cost. The nursery has been practising for over 40 years, and little to no renovation has been done since. The building is growing old and needs to be carried out to provide a better equipped and safer environment for children.
The project's goal is to renovate and provide maintenance work to the space of the nursery. The money will be spent on maintenance work and replacing equipment at the nursery. The project will impact both children currently attending the nursery and those who will join the nursery in the future. Parents will be less concerned about their children's safety.
The 40 years of continuous effort from the West Hendon Preschool staff members demonstrate that it can provide high-quality childcare services. All parents are pleased with their experience; even more, the children who attend the nursery as they build a great relationship with their aunties. To keep providing such exceptional service, the proposed maintenance work is required.

The project will enable maintenance work on the nursery which will look refreshed and safer for the current 27 children attending the nursery and the future 27 children who will be attending the nursery. In the long term, with a better-equipped nursery, we aim to welcome more children and more staff members to registered children.
