Expected impact

The project will increase STEM confidence, career awareness, and sense of belonging among young people in Brent Cross. Participants will: Report improved confidence in problem-solving and teamwork. Identify at least one local STEM career or employer relevant to their skills. Show measurable growth in self-reported Engineering Habits of Mind (problem-finding, adapting, improving). Strengthen community connection through the showcase event, linking schools, employers, and residents. Target outcomes: 70% of participants feel more confident in STEM. 60% report greater awareness of STEM career pathways. 50% express intent to pursue further STEM learning or activity.

RC Vision CIC is the UK’s leading social enterprise using radio-controlled motorsport to inspire inclusion in STEM. Over10,000 young people reached through partnerships with British Radio Car Association, BMW Group, Great Western Railway, and Oxford University.
