Expected impact

Our project aims to create a significant positive impact on the local community by fostering a supportive and engaging environment for skateboarding enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels. Over the next year, we anticipate engaging at least 100 individuals in regular skateboarding activities. We will track participation through event footfall, attendance logs, and feedback forms to measure progress. We plan to host 50 community events and free coaching sessions, impacting at least 200 community members. These efforts will strengthen community bonds, reduce social isolation, and enhance local involvement. Through our Skate Starters programme, we aim to provide structured coaching to at least 100 beginners. Our goal is for 80% of participants to show measurable improvement in skateboarding skills within six months, boosting their self-esteem and confidence. To monitor our progress, we will use feedback forms and event footfall data, making adjustments as needed.

Track record

We have delivered 70 free coaching slots. Through our event footfall sheet, we have recorded engaging with nearly 100 young adults and adults through coaching workshops, video projects, specialized workshops, and private lessons. Our feedback forms have found our coaching content and delivery excellent.
