The Pitch

Problem statement

Continual upgrade of our club to improve the facilities available to our local community. The club suffers from a lack of external viewing area and external entertaining space which negatively impacts on

Solution

To create a welcoming environment for all to enjoy and for the local community to utilise to the full A first floor balcony to allow supporters to watch and engage in all activities at the club and to further improve the usability of the clubhouse for our local community. The total cost of the balcony project is £74k and our efforts so far have raised over £70k towards the cost of the balcony.

Why are we best placed to deliver?

Our efforts so far have raised over £50k towards the cost of the balcony. Numerous local community groups using the clubhouse on a weekly basis and we have previously provided a Covid test centre which was completely run by volunteers. We have a very successful senior and junior section competing every week during the season which we wish to build upon. We have a large group of volunteers with the aim to engage with the local community and utilise the club to its full capacity. Over the last few years we have seen juniors rise through the age groups, some of which have been selected for Leicester Tigers U14's Development Player Pathway, U18 academy and Senior academy at Leicester Tigers.
