Who we are
Description
Nourish Axminster is a community food project who provide nutritionally balanced, home cooked meals to those in the community who are struggling through food poverty, the cost of living crisis and the ongoing energy crisis. We are two volunteers who work in a professional kitchen twice a week, making home cooked meals from scratch, using the best possible ingredients and then freezing the meals. The food is then distributed to the community groups we support plus individuals and families who are in need of our help. Nourish is now a registered CIO with the Charity Commission. Our charity reference number is :1206366 We are expanding our project and in 2024 we will become a registered CIO and will be moving into our own new premises. Very exciting times for us at Nourish and we couldn't do what we do without the help of the funding we receive from organisations through Action Funder.
