Shared Enterprise CIC

Who we are

Description

Shared Enterprise is a social enterprise with a mission to empower and inspire people facing challenges to build their entrepreneurial skills and achieve their enterprise and life ambitions. Our core activity is Shared Enterprise Clubs. These are exciting, inclusive and welcoming spaces, serving people who live in large deprived social housing estates, prisons etc. The Clubs empower and inspire marginalised people to gain confidence and unleash their entrepreneurial talents. If they go on to start a business, social enterprise or charity, that is a bonus. Members not only gain confidence, but also courage, new networks and basic business skills. These are highly transferable and empower them to shape their own personal and economic futures, whether they start a business or go on to do something else. Their new enterprises will create jobs and transform lives, but they also benefit the wider community and the local economy.
