Description

Weybridge Beekeepers as a division of Surrey supports their overall objectives of: • To promote and further the craft of beekeeping and the science of bees • To advance the education of the public in the environmental and economic importance of bees • To assist in educating school children as to the role bees play in the environment • To assist people in understanding how crucial bees are in pollination We deliver this through: Winter and Summer Bee Education programmes Summer Beekeeping Taster Days School Visits (currently only possible with us going to schools) Collection of Swarms - FREE to the local community Winter meetings Support on further Bee Education through membership of the BBKA
