Description
Creative Futures is a multi-arts charity, offering transformative experiences through the arts to children and young people, particularly those in areas of deprivation. We deliver a range of impact-driven programmes, designed to tackle specific needs and priorities, and lead by inspiring professional artist practitioners. We particularly focus on interventions which narrow the persistent (and growing) attainment gap of 19+ months between the most and least disadvantaged children as they start school: a gap which then widens as the children progress through their education. We are also increasingly working at the intersection of the arts and health, partnering with other charities and the health sector to improve parental and child mental health and well-being in particular. We reach around 3,000 individuals every year through long-term programmes delivered across London and in parts of southeast England.
