Description
To advance education and skills and to provide opportunities, library provision and facilities in theinterests of enhancing community wellbeing and for recreation and leisure time occupation with theaim of improving the quality of life for the residents. Fallowfield Library & Community Resource Centre (branded as ‘The Place at Platt Lane’ and knownlocally as ‘The Place’) offers a range of opportunities to support Our mission statement is to improve Wellbeing, Learning, Education, Skills, Employability and Culture in the Fallowfield ward of Manchester. The Place is a vibrant hub in the heart of the community which is the local venue of choice for all. The centre does not only offer Library services but a range of opportunities to support Learning. The centre activity is shaped by the wishes and needs of the local community.
