Launchpad Reading

Who we are

Description

Launchpad Reading is committed to preventing homelessness, providing homes and rebuilding lives. We work in Reading, helping people who are in housing need. Last year we supported more than 1,400 people (+30% on the previous year). We prevent homelessness: For example, our Drop-in is available for anyone who needs housing or homelessness-related information and support and we support people who are housed by other agencies but who need help to sustain their tenancy. We provide homes: We provide and maintain temporary accommodation across Reading for more than 100 people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless, combining it with individual, targeted support to help them get their lives back on track. We rebuild lives: Launchpad 135, our dedicated work and life skills centre, helps vulnerable people to learn new skills, build confidence and self-esteem and get back into education, training, employment or volunteering.
