Who we are
Description
Shropshire Youth Support Trust (SYST) is a registered Charity that offers holistic and bespoke support to young people (YP) who are socially and economically excluded by unemployment, and who are not in education or training (NEETS). We support and empower YP across the West Midlands to identify their unique strengths and passions, whilst giving them the tools to sustain emotional and financial independence. Our beneficiaries often have multiple and complex barriers to employment, ranging from ex-offenders, homelessness, substance misuse, young carers, to those with specific conditions such as ADHD, Autism Spectrum Condition, anxiety, depression, and long-term physical health conditions. Since our inception in 2016, we have worked with over 2306 individuals and we have continued to grow and expand our services over the past 6 years, developing our programmes to better support YP.
