Who we are
Description
At Beyond The Wave CIC, we deliver open water swimming and outdoor experiences for people of all ages. Working peripatetically, we focus on inclusivity and access for all, creating connections, learning new skills and making the most of the natural landscape we live in. We are a Social Enterprise; we use our profit and grant funding to subsidise and sometimes fully fund the cost of our sessions; all our profit is circled back in to supporting the work we do in making open water swimming and activities in nature more accessible and inclusive, both physically, emotionally, mentally and financially, for the benefit of everyone’s physical and mental health and wellbeing. Water safety is at our core and embedded in everything we do as we work to increase water safety awareness and reduce drowning.
