FAST London

Who we are

Description

Our vision is a community where young people grow up with a healthy sense of trust, resilience, and hope for the future. FAST London works with young people aged 9 - 25, who live in or around the Patmore Estate in SW London, an area of multiple deprivation. The young people who live here are at a high risk of getting involved in gangs, crime, and anti-social behaviour. We provide: strong positive role models; highly effective prevention and intervention youth work; diversionary and inspiring activities which support and enable young people to showcase their skills and talents, help build resilience and self-confidence and create goals for the future. Our core activity is our daily, open access Community Programme which provides a safe place where young people can find support after school aimed at encouraging communication and support mental health, well-being and a positive outlook. We work in partnership with schools and other organisations to support the most vulnerable young people
