Description
Diverse Abilities is a charity that supports children and adults with profound disabilities, as well as their families, in the Dorset and surrounding areas. Founded in 1955, we proudly support over 1,500 individuals every year through a wide range of services. Our mission at Diverse Abilities is to enable children and adults with disabilities, as well as their families, to have the best quality of life possible by providing a lifetime of sustainable support services. We work with people who have a wide range of complex medical needs, and we are the only charity in Dorset that supports both children and adults with disabilities. From our Langside School for children aged 2-19 to our Supported Living services for adults, we are truly dedicated to supporting our beneficiaries and their families in whatever way they need, throughout each of their key life stages.
