Description
Be Buckfastleigh is a Community Interest Company working to tackle health, social, and economic inequalities in Buckfastleigh and other small rural towns. We aim to make Buckfastleigh a thriving and inclusive place for everyone, especially those in most need of support. We provide a range of free activities and services which connect people to each other, to their community and to nature and the environment. We work with other small towns in Dartmoor and south Devon to demonstrate a sustainable, people-based recovery model that builds friendships and support networks, encourages people to try new things, improves peoples mental, physical and emotional health, and provides a route into training, volunteering and good quality, local work.
