Who we are
Description
Plants For Plymouth is a plant and vegetable sharing group where we start off the growing process and then donate them onto schools, clubs, community groups and individuals. Once the plants and vegetables are established and donated out it gives people the chance to finish off the growing process and collect the food to use in home cooked meals or to put into community fridges for the wider public to use. The tree project starts by us getting baby saplings and allowing them to grow for a few months before we offer them out to anyone who can gain legal permission to be able to plant native species of British tree's. With the support of another city group Clean our patch who have done amazing work clearing our city of litter we have already helped transform several unused community areas that were fly tip areas into beautiful community gardens with plants and vegetables for the residents to grow and enjoy.
