Who we are
Description
She's Got Skills celebrates female football. We are a football collective comprised of players, industry professionals and fans. We aim to inspire the next generation of athletes through tournaments, off-pitch events and our own competitive 11-a-side team, Kenningwell United WFC. In our maiden season our team finished second in the GLWFL despite not having any form of regular training. Grassroots women's football faces significant barriers regarding access to training and matchday facilities. There are recent examples (Camden Bells, South London Laces) of London teams facing discrimination at the hands of venue and league operators. We want better for women's football and have created a platform to affect change. The funding we seek will go directly towards securing training space for women across our community as we look ahead to the 2022/23 season. Thank you very much.
