Description
Elworth Cricket Club is a Community Amateur Sports Club providing facilities for social events and recreational sport for adults and children of all ages (male and female). Volunteers support the coaching and organisation of cricket activities for all age groups. Parents are encouraged to volunteer their active support to the participating children. The club is managed by a Management Committee elected annually at the AGM, all the roles are voluntary and are listed in the club rules. The management group convenes monthly to review finances and to agree on-going action plans. Volunteers regularly help with maintenance of all the club facilities and the club uses its network of members for expertise in the areas of business management, legal advice and trades. The club is available throughout the year for community groups, charities, local residents and businesses to use the facility for meetings and social events. A part time manager oversees the clubroom and event bookings.
