For over 35 years, Groundwork South has worked with communities across the South of England, combining social and environmental regeneration to improve people’s prospects, create better places, and promote greener living and working. We pride ourselves on delivering high quality actions with real, long-lasting environmental impact and tangible social and economic benefits Our work aims to: •Create better places – supporting people to work collectively to make their surroundings greener, more resilient, safer and healthier and to become actively involved in their communities. •Improve people’s prospects – delivering support to children, young people, families and long term unemployed to increase confidence, skills, well-being and employability. •Promote greener living and working – helping people, organisations and businesses learn more about their environmental impact and to reduce natural resource use; address fuel poverty; and improve their health and wellbeing.
