Ambitious about Autism

Who we are

Description

Ambitious about Autism is a charity for children and young people. We run schools and colleges, peer support and extensive employability programmes for autistic young people. One of our schools Treehouse is based in North London and is attended by pupils from across London. Many of our TreeHouse pupils have complex autism including cognitive impairment and challenging behaviour. Our current request is for funding of £4,200 to create a sensory trail through 'Saplings', a small area of woodland and food growing space we have been leased next door to TreeHouse School. The trail would be designed by pupils and school staff. Many elements would be made and installed by volunteers.
