Inch Park Community Sports Club is a registered charity run mostly by volunteers, based in an area of high deprivation in South Edinburgh. We provide a vibrant space and community facilities where sport and other activities can take place, for all ages and abilities. We are designated as a Community Sports Hub by SportScotland and have three core clubs – football, cricket and rugby. Grassroots sport makes a huge contribution to communities and can achieve lasting impact on health and wellbeing. It draws people of all ages and backgrounds together. We align our provision to local needs so those who will most benefit can participate. We deliver initiatives tackling poverty, mental health and isolation. We run youth sessions with Police Scotland. We deliver sports within schools, programmes for youth at risk of not engaging in school, and Youth Work in Sport. We work with partners to provide services aiming for equality in health and wellbeing including money management training.
