Who we are
Description
I am a mum/teacher who has voluntarily in my own time, coordinated music lessons for primary school children in our local community centre which has a music room. We currently have guitar and violin, guitar and piano lessons with 15 students on roll. Our music teachers are made up of two dads and two students in the third year of their degree at the Guildhall school of music. I book the room and coirdinate lessons and the teachers pay £5 plus vat per hour for the room. Lessons are £18 per 30 min slot. I would like the lessons to be cheaper for parents and the rooms paid for. And possible some financial repayment for my time and effort. We started on the 4th November 2021.
