Who we are
Description
Veterans Aid is a small national charity providing life-changing support to veterans in crisis. We operate from just two locations, both of them unique in their own ways: our central London Operations Centre, which is currently the only centre providing face-to-face support to veterans five days a week and 24/7 remotely, and a 66-bedroom accommodation facility called New Belvedere House, where the veterans who need more in-depth, 24-hour support are housed for an average of nine months until they are fully equipped to move on and sustain independent living. At VA, we successfully deliver immediate, practical help to ex-servicemen and women facing homelessness, addiction, mental health challenges, and financial hardship from throughout the UK. Our services include emergency accommodation, detox and rehab referrals, mental health care, employment and training pathways, and anything else clients need in order to successfully recover.
