Description
Home-Start West Berkshire is a local charity supporting families with children aged 0–5 who are experiencing difficult times. For over 25 years, we’ve provided early intervention support to families facing challenges such as poverty, isolation, mental health issues, domestic abuse, and housing insecurity. Our trained volunteers and staff work alongside families through home visits, group sessions, and tailored one-to-one support. We build trusting, non-judgmental relationships that help parents develop confidence, improve routines, and strengthen bonds with their children. Our services include parenting support, mental health support, early years development, and practical help with daily life. We work closely with local health and education services to ensure joined-up, effective support. At the heart of our work is the belief that the earliest years make the biggest difference and by supporting families early, we help children get the best possible start in life.
