Description
Faithworks (FW) is a Dorset-based Christian charity that runs practical projects around food, finance, homelessness and lone parenting in our local towns. Our goal is to help people in crisis find new personal resilience – to have their lives restored and “re-storied” for the future, so preventing them needing crisis help again. And through this we long to see a new community resilience in our local neighbourhoods where homelessness and food insecurity are effectively ended, and where everyone is within 15 minutes of a place of practical support, friendship and hope. We recognise that everyone’s journey is different: 1. Going from a life in immediate crisis where there is a need for urgent help with essentials like food, debt advice and shelter. 2. Starting to move forward with our team members alongside, connecting with a range of relational support, and gaining confidence within a community. 3. Finding new purpose, resilience & hope which might be through doing practical courses
