Who we are
Description
GINA aims to empower survivors to seize opportunities to Grow, Inspire, Nurture and Achieve. Led by individuals with lived experience of sexual trauma, GINA is a Birmingham-based social enterprise and CIC providing private, specialist counselling and bespoke resources for survivors of sexual violence and abuse. GINA provides immediate face-to-face and/or telephone counselling (contrasting lengthy waiting lists associated with organisations providing free support). There is no equivalent UK private, specialist, rape crisis organisation. GINA is RSVP’s sister organisation, a Birmingham-based charity providing free sexual abuse services. All GINA profits are donated to RSVP to help fund free support services for survivors who need them.
