Fund details & criteria

Fund purpose

The Camley Street Community Fund is a £1 million, 10-year fund supporting local people, groups and organisations in and around the Camley Street area in Camden. It provides small grants (typically £2,000–£6,000) to help bring communities together, create opportunities, and ensure local residents benefit from the area’s ongoing development. The fund is open to charities, community groups, schools, and not-for-profit organisations delivering activities that support at least one of three key themes: community building, innovation and creativity, and employment and training. This could include anything from local events and community activities, to skills programmes, creative projects, or initiatives that help people access jobs and opportunities. Designed with input from local residents, the fund prioritises projects that are inclusive, accessible, and make a real difference to people living nearby - particularly those who may face barriers to opportunity. It’s about supporting ideas that strengthen the community now while helping build a more connected and inclusive future for Camley Street. --------------------------------- 💫Applying for funding on ActionFunder is a bit different💫 Here’s the process: sign up, register your organisation and post a project you want funding for. Your project will automatically match with any funds you meet the criteria for (grant amount, location, focus area, beneficiary type). If you want to apply for this fund, make sure your project meets the criteria. Your project will remain live on the platform (ready to match with new funds) until you successfully win funding. ActionFunder’s all about saving you time so that you can get on with what matters: community action.
