Fund details & criteria

Fund purpose

We are pleased to launch a new community fund supporting projects that strengthen wellbeing and create safe, sustainable places for local people—reflecting both the Berkeley Foundation’s focus on a place to call home and health and wellbeing, and Guildford Borough Council’s priorities for a more inclusive, prosperous, and sustainable borough. We welcome applications from social enterprises, charities, community organisations, and informal groups proposing projects that directly benefit the communities surrounding our North Street development. Please outline clearly how the funding will be used, with as much detail as possible. We are open to being either the sole funder or part of a small funding partnership for the right project. We look forward to seeing your ideas—whether written or recorded. Successful projects will be announced in May 2026.
