Fund purpose
The Eastern City Business Improvement District (BID) is proud to announce we are launching a grant fund of £40,000 for charities, community groups and CICs delivering projects in our local area. Apply today for up to £5,000 for your organisation. Representing and funded by over 200 of the Square Mile's largest organisations, the Eastern City BID provides a range of initiatives to support the local area, its workers and visitors. Creating social value by strengthening links between the corporate world and neighbouring communities around the City fringe is a key objective of this grants programme. We also hope that the opportunities extend beyond the simple provision of funds and over time our business members can build long-term relationships in support of successful grant applicants, as has been the case from previous funding rounds. Please note that we cannot accept applications where the funds are proposed to be used by political parties or politically affiliated groups, nor shall grants be used by any organisation for political campaigning or lobbying purposes. Religious or religiously affiliated groups are eligible to apply (e.g. for a foodbank operated by a place of worship), however we cannot accept applications for projects that propose to promote religious beliefs and practices. We will also not accept applications from organisations or projects that discriminate on the basis of race, religion, creed, gender, age, physical or mental challenge or national origin. ------ 💫Applying for funding on ActionFunder is a bit different💫 Here’s the process: sign up, register your organisation and post a project you want funding for.
