Fund purpose

The Better Luton Environment Fund We’re excited to launch the Better Luton Environment Fund – a joint initiative from SUEZ recycling and recovery UK and Luton Borough Council. This £15,000 fund is here to support community projects that make life better for people and the environment in Luton. What we’re looking for We want to hear from groups with ideas that: • Teach or share useful skills • Run activities that support the planet • Help care for local spaces or reduce waste Funding available • Grants of up to £3,000 per project • A total of £15,000 will be awarded Who can apply • Charities, community groups, and not-for-profit organisations • Groups must be formally set up About the partnership In 2024, SUEZ began working with Luton Borough Council to run the town’s two Household Waste Recycling Centres and its waste transfer station. Together, we’re helping residents recycle more, reuse items, and cut down on waste. The Better Luton Environment Fund is another way we’re supporting local people to make a difference in their communities. Apply now Applications are open until 29 June 2026.
