Our aim is to be a good neighbour by managing our operations well and helping to contribute to the well-being of communities. Our Community Grants support the delivery of impactful projects and positive outcomes for local communities. Key Information 📅 Application Timeline: Applications can be accepted anytime throughout the year and are reviewed monthly 💵 Minimum grant: £500 | Maximum grant: £1,000 📍 Locations: Fife (near Mossmorran), Aberdeenshire (near St Fergus), Bacton, Aberdeen city ⏳ Project Completion Deadline: Three months after funding is received 📝 Who can apply: community groups, registered charities, social enterprises and Parent Teacher Associations What We Fund Community groups can apply for a minimum of £500 and a maximum of £1,000 to fund projects that align with one or more of our key criteria: ✅ Improving employment opportunities, training and skills delivery or increasing participation in education ✅ Engaging people in positive activities that may not usually be available to them ✅ Community events or projects that increase community participation or access ✅ Enhancing community spaces ✅ Promoting health and well-being or safety What We Don’t Fund ❌ Retrospective costs ❌ General running costs, staffing, or overheads ❌ Political, religious, or for-profit activities ❌ Sports kits for teams that charge a fee to attend ❌ Individuals e.g. sponsored walks, expedition costs ❌ Projects outside of our operational locations (organisations can be national or based in other locations, but the activity being funded must be carried out around the locations mentioned above) ❌ We are unlikely to fund the same organisations or projects year-on-year
