Central District Alliance (CDA) the Business Improvement District (BID) for Holborn, Bloomsbury, St Giles, Clerkenwell and Farringdon, is launching the third consecutive year of their Social and Community Fund, focusing on projects that are making a difference in their local communities. CDA’s Social and Community Fund aims to support charitable organisations within Camden and Islington, enabling people to participate and engage actively in their communities. We welcome social enterprises, registered charities, community businesses and informal groups to submit an application in this round of funding for 2025. Objectives of the Social and Community Fund: (Projects that offer opportunities to address inequality and promote inclusion will be prioritised) 🌍 Celebrate cultural heritage – Projects that highlight identity, lived experience, and promote pride and mutual respect 🌈 Encourage discovery & diversity – Inspire participation and celebrate the richness of our members and local area 👧👵 Support youth & intergenerational learning – Activities that create inclusive opportunities and dialogue across generations 🍲 Tackle cost of living challenges – Projects that help communities with practical support (e.g. cooking on a budget, reducing loneliness) 🤝 Build meaningful connections – Strengthen ties between individuals, businesses, and places to work toward shared goals 💡 Drive positive change – Innovative ideas that challenge the status quo and deliver real impact for members and the wider community
