Fund purpose
Thames Water community fund has been launched to support projects in the community that we serve that are linked to the theme of water. We want to support community groups and charities whose projects provide access to water sports, improve the environment around rivers and other water bodies, or support nature with water related projects including pond creation and rainwater harvesting. We will also support projects to install accessible toilet facilities in community spaces and heath projects related to water. We cannot offer water supply connections or ongoing costs of water. The Community committee group will review applications at three points (end of Jul 25, Nov 25 & Mar 26) and will let successful applicants know within two weeks. Where possible we seek to work with the recipients of our funds to provide further support, through colleague volunteering. Please do bring any opportunities to work with us in this way in your project requests. Please check that your organisation is within the Thames Water supply area (Water and/or Waste) before applying.
