Fund Details & Criteria Our annual resident survey highlights that people living in Clarion properties are less likely to cycle regularly. Cycling, whether as a form of transport or a recreational activity, offers numerous environmental benefits as well as boosts to physical and mental health. The ‘Like to Bike’ Grants are here to support community partner organisations in encouraging more people to cycle within Clarion’s housing footprint. Potential projects could include: • Organising cycling engagement events • Offering cycling training sessions • Hosting inclusive cycling meetups • Co-designing workshops to explore safer cycling routes in our neighbourhoods This is just a starting point—any project that addresses barriers to cycling will be considered. What We’re Looking For To be eligible, projects should: • Be open, inclusive, and welcoming to all • Engage at least 30 residents from Clarion communities • Be completed within 12 months We are especially excited to support initiatives that involve younger residents (under 18) and older residents (over 55) or that bring generations together. What You Need to Apply Eligible organisations must: • Be deeply rooted in their communities • Have the skills and expertise to successfully deliver the project • Hold the relevant insurance and safeguarding policies to ensure safety and compliance Together, let’s overcome barriers to cycling and make a positive impact on our communities
