Fund purpose
Over ten years on from the Olympic Games life has changed dramatically in East Village, the former Athletes’ Village. At Get Living, we’re reflecting on that journey and celebrating the great community spirit we’ve built together in over the past decade with the launch of the Inspiring East Village Community Fund for 2023. With the aim of supporting local community groups, charities, educational organisations and social enterprises, the fund is now open to applications. ~~~~~ Applying for funding on ActionFunder is a bit different. Here’s the process: sign up, register your organisation and post a project you want funding for. Your project will automatically match with any funds you meet the criteria for (grant amount, location, focus area). If you want to apply for this fund, make sure your project meets the following criteria: - Grant amount: up to £5,000 - Location: in the East Village area, within 1 mile of E20 1JH - Focus area (at least one of the following): > Education and Employment > Climate and Nature > Sustainable consumption and production > Arts and Culture > Neighbourhood Your project will remain live on the platform (ready to match with new funds) until you successfully win funding.
