Fund purpose

The JEDI (Justice, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion) programme aims to build capacity for organisations who want to run nature-focused activities for young people who are underrepresented in environmental action. we aim to deliver a tailored programme of water and nature-based activities and to offer a platform and voice for those we are supporting to feel the benefits of connecting to nature. -Celebrate the role of water as a driver for nature wherever you live -Run activities aimed at young people (and families) in marginalised communities who are less likely to be connected to nature, so they can become JEDI Nature Champions -With our support, create content like videos and images involving the JEDI Nature Champions to improve representation, demonstrate your impact and secure further funding What’s On Offer We are looking for 3 or 4 groups in the Thames Water region to help us share water based nature activities! £3,000-4,000 of funding across one year to run 4x water-based nature activities for young people (1 per season) We will support projects that are aimed at young people and communities who are underrepresented in environmental action and want to share what they are doing.
