Fund details & criteria

Fund purpose

Fund purpose At South West Water we believe in the value of togetherness. Never has it been more important to celebrate being a part of a South West community that comes together to do good for the environment, the places that we live and for each other. The Neighbourhood Fund is our way of contributing to the celebration, where we can not only help realise projects across our service areas but be a part of the journey. Through our fund we aim to be the best next door neighbours; listening to our communities stories, getting hands on with projects and playing our part in creating a South West community that we are proud to be a part of. The Neighbourhood Fund will give £10K in each round, and aims to have multiple rounds until the end of the year. The types of projects we're looking to fund … 1. Protect nature and the environment for the benefit of community health and well-being 2. Provide new opportunities for people to learn and develop 3. Assist local projects which bring communities together, virtually or physically – when safe to do so 4. Support the upkeep of local neighbourhood centres and facilities to keep communities strong To be eligible for funding, projects must be located within our Devon, Cornwall, Isles of Scilly or Bournemouth service area. If you have a project that meets this criteria, we would love to get on board. Applications are open and will be considered on a rolling basis, so don't delay submitting a project.
