SNG's Family Learning Fund
Fund details & criteria
Fund purpose
SNG (Sovereign Network Group) is committed to improving customers wellbeing and developing thriving and resilient communities. Our Family Learning Fund exists to provide place-based grants that empower local groups supporting SNG customers to learn, develop and thrive. The Family Learning Fund encourages applications from Community Groups that provide opportunities for learning for the whole family, enabling adults and children to learn and thrive. The Family Learning Fund provides grants of up to £1,000 to support organisations. We encourage applications for projects that bring families together to learn new skills. Examples are activities such as cookery, numeracy, literacy, creative, or life skills based projects designed to improve confidence and skills. PLEASE SEE OUR WEBSITE FOR MORE DETAILS : https://www.sng.org.uk/about-us/community-foundation/grants-and-funding To apply, organisations MUST: Work within clearly defined SNG communities where we have homes, ensuring your activity directly benefits our customers. You should show how you will actively engage local residents and create positive impact at a neighbourhood/hyper local level. Please note: We will fund equipment, and other costs needed to directly deliver the Family Learning activities. Staff costs may be included where they are directly attributable to the delivery of the activity. Refreshments can be included. Equipment/Capital costs can be up to 50% of the funding applied for i.e. a maximum of £500. Unfortunately, we cannot fund core costs (for example, rent and utilities).
